TAEF - University Dormitory TAIFA

TAEF FOR BETTER GENERATION

Temeke University Student dormitory is located near Taifa national stadium. The dormitory provides good learning environments for university students including standard meals, rooms and study rooms. Our dormitory also provides different seminars and programs for the candidates, in all life aspects spiritually, academically and to prep them on their upcoming new lives after earning their degrees. We enroll students from all nearby universities including, The University of DUCE, TIA, the university of Mwalimu Nyerere, IFM and DIT.

 

Our mission is to provide good learning environment for students and improve the quality of education earned. We view quality education as the base for development on the current and future generations.

Our Core Activities

1. Meals and Accomodation

Our dormitory offers students with a well prescribed meal, our meal plan offers students with three general meals that includes standard breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our meals are standard and common to all types of students. In addition, we offer fruits for every meal to provide our students with a complete balanced diet.

2. Guidence and counseling

Taifa dormitory is not just a dormitory but also a center for guidance and counseling for students’ careers. Our dormitory includes Dormitory master and Patrons, their major obligation is to guide and counsel students according to their concerns. We provide free counseling service to our students and guiding them academically, mentally, and morally. The aim of counseling and guiding students is to provide them with several solutions to problems and the best choice to opportunities as they pursue their university courses.

Well supervised Prep’ Activities

Taifa Dormitory offers a well supervised prep for our students, we have different prep sessions guided by our patrons whose job is to make sure that our students score good results and also grow up within good social conduct. Our patrons are well trained to deal with all types of students.

Healthy Meals and Accommodation

We provide healthy meals and good accommodation to our students, our meals are standard to all students, our meals are planned for body health and developments. Each bedroom consist of not more than four students. A new student to our dormitory is given free;
• One bed
• Two bed sheets
• One pillow
• One wardrobe

Guidance and counseling

For our students’ development we provide professional counseling through number of seminars and programs, we host different people with different professions and career to counsel and give inspiration and motivation to their career. We provide students with;

• Communication skills

Examination Programs

7. We provide well supervised examination programs to our students, also giving them skills and technics to use during their preparations for examination programs. We provide examination programs to enable our students to be familiar with exams and decrease their anxiety towards exams. We believe practice make it perfect, we offers examination programs;

• Pre general exams

Charity Program

8. We encourage students to be good models in their society by creating the habit of giving back in them, we supervise our students to organize different charity events to help people with problems and in need. We encourage our students to organize charity events after every six months. Our charity events are in terms of;
• Visiting orphanage camps
• Street cleaning days
• Visiting hospitals
• Inviting others to our dormitory

Sports and Games activities

9. Our dormitory supervise sports activities for our students to ensure their physical health and development, our students engages in different games for the intellectual and mental development. Our sports time table are arranged in;
• Every Saturday morning, every week
• Football matches for every month
• Picnic events

Tour study activities

10. For our students’ experience and competences we organize study tours to different areas of production and entertainments. Our study tours are conducted two time a year it depend on the need of our students, our tour study are mainly visit to;
• Industrial areas
• Arts and archives areas
• Entertainment areas
• Museums
• National parks.

Close Follow Up

Our students are well guided, our follow up are not only academically but also economically, politically, and socially to make sure that we provide well-disciplined personals to take up social responsibilities.
